Earlier today, Federal University Oye Ekiti (fuoye) officially launched it’s students’ union building as the vice chancellor Professor Abayomi Fashina celebrates one year in office.
Among several developments which Abayomi has managed, the students union building is recognised as one of the most creatives because of its ability to create an avenue for the union to accommodate discussions and complaint.
Presents at the launching ceremony were several administrative personnels which includes the vice chancellor, deputy vice chancellors, bursar, dean of students affairs and other concerned units.
The building which has been in construction for months now was used for the launching ceremony where several donations were made for the completion of the project and several pictures of the ongoing construction of the building were taken.
SCHOOLTALKS media confirmed this in an appreciate post of the students’ union official Facebook page where it wrote “The leadership of this union is using this opportunity to sincerely appreciate the general public for your attendance and land donation at the official launching ceremony of the ongoing students’ union building. We assure you of prudent utilization of the gathered funds for the prime purpose of the ongoing project”.
